Udatsu house/townscape

Iya Kazura Bridge
Kazura Bridge in the unexplored region of Iya, which hides the sad story of the Heike clan.
It is made of Shirakuchikazura which weighs is about 6 tons, height is 45m long, wide is 2m, and high above the water is 14m.
In the past, it was the only transportation facility in the deep mountain valley area, and now it is replaced every three years.
It is one of Japan's three most unique bridges and important tangible folk-cultural property. -
Oboke
